Materials:
Spray-on conditioner
Mane and tail comb
Human hair brush
Spray some conditioner in the tail and wait a minute or two for it to soak in and detangle. Then, with your fingers, detangle big knots. Brush the tail with the human hair brush carefully and thoroughly. Then soak the brush in a little bit of warm water and brush the beginning of the tail and dock to keep some hairs down, so they're not sticking up. Then take the mane and tail comb and brush it thoroughly.
