Soak a clean sponge with lukewarm water. Wipe your horse's face around his eyes, outside his ears, muzzle and nostrils. Let the excess drip down his face.
Optional: For a real refresher, add a drop of a mild liniment (such as Vetrolin. It's much milder than others) to the water and rinse his face.
