A.     Keep up to date with the reading.  It is important that you are on schedule, so you can participate in class discussion and activities, and do well on the quizzes and the unit test.

 

B.     The unit test with an essay will be on Friday, November 7, 2008.

 

C.     Answer your writer’s notebook questions fully and carefully.  The writer’s notebook questions are to be completed for each chapter in order to help you get the most out of the reading.  Also, these questions will help you study for the unit test on 11/7/08. 

 

D.    There will be occasional pop-quizzes given on the reading in class.
