Instructions on Subtitle Viewing

1) Use a video player program that can read .mpg files. I recommend freeware like Media Player Classic (Real Alternative) developed by Gabest and maybe Windows Media Player if you have it. You can download Media Player Classic through this website:
http://www.softpedia.com/get/Multimedia/Video/Video-Players/Media-Player-Classic-for-Win2kXP.shtml
I do not recommend Winamp for subtitle viewing. If you cannot view the .mpg files with these programs, you probably need to upgrade them or download them again.

2) Check that you have a file format that is compatible, if you have .rmvb or .rm video files, you should try to convert them to .mpg files or .dat files.

2) Download and install DirectVobSub. You must download that to view the subtitles along with your videos. Here's where you can download it:
http://www.free-codecs.com/download/DirectVobSub.htm

3) Make sure the filenames of both the video files and the subtitle files are the same. (i.e. MDWAV01.mpg, MDWAV01.ssa) Make sure both files are in the same directories. Last step: watch the video again, and if everything is right, directvobsub should be on (at the right hand corner tray of the windows toolbar) while you are watching the video.
