In the book Toxin Robin cook became a master of his own element. He mastered yet again another doctor myterery/thriller. Many eventsw lead to the death of an eleven year old girl, an assasin, and a renowned doctor landing in jail.
In the begining we find our beloved doctor Kim Regis taking his daughter out for a burger at the Onion Burger. His daughter ate a contaminated burger, and caught E-Coli. At first she had only minor stomach cramps and vomiting. This ecalated into extreamy nausia and disyness. After the weekend she was hopitalized and sent into extrem care. At this point the doctors had no clue what this disease was other then the stomach flu( which isn't real).
Beckies state grew worse and she fell unconsience. She had multiple surgeries but non to prevaile. She went into cardiact arrest and her father cut her chest open and tryed to start her heart with his hand. Her heart fell apart in his hand, which gave proof to her disease being E-Coli.
Kim was so out raged by this he stormed over to the Onion Burger and attacked the maneger. He recieved information on where the contaminated meat came from and how to find it.
Kim was assaulted at the meat manufaturing place by an assasin and then later found to be guilty of trespasing. Kim stayed in jail that night and was release4d the following day. the next day Kims ex-wife Tracy came with him to the meat plant where he recieved a job. They mae him work over time and he was assaulted in the bathroom of the plant. Tracy raced in and saved him, but shot the assasin.
The book ended by Kim and Tracy at thier daughters funeral and they were not charged with anything.
Over all this book had the same indea all Robin Cook book have, the doctor allways saves the day.
