-Ralon Tirragen is a descendant of the ancient Galla. The Galla were a primitive people who merged Their souls with those of nature. They considered all things Their brothers and sisters. The Gallas gained the ability to metamorphasize into different creatures of all types. this brought them closer to together with their brethren, the animals.
The Wolf Clan, were a segment of Gallas who solely merged with the wolves and other wild canines, creating their own special clan. The Galla Wolf Clan soon moved away from Their ancestors and closer to the forests. The Galla Wolves all appear humane in appearance and stay that way until they reach maturity, the age of 21. At that age their bodies develop according to their sex, and they are now able to transform into giant wolves. This was a side effect of merging with only one type of species, the bonus being that insanity, or mutation, is never present in any of their offspring, no matter the form, or amount, of in-breeding.
- Galla Wolf Clan members, or wolps, are much like their lupine cousins. They live together, rarely leaving due to the love they have for each other. Mating rituals occur in the winter and only mature wolps are allowed to participate. The ritual consists of one of two parts. 1) either the male and female battle each other to determine strong offspring and dominance, or 2) The two must hunt together and collect enough meat, fish, and poultry to serve as a wedding feast. If they can work together, and hunt together, it proves that they can provide and survive together.
- The Clan has a a social order called dominance hierarchy. Every member of the clan has a certain rank in the hierarchy. High-ranking members, called dominant wolps, dominate low ranking members, known as subordinate wolps. There is no such thing as sexism in this hierarchy. The only exception to the dominance hierarchy is the chieftain and his mate. The Chieftain is always a black or dark great wolf, the Chieftess, his mate, is always a white, or light great wolf. It has been known to be reversed, but the couple was always the same. The Black and White wolps are always the leaders because they are a rare breed of wolp. They are the biggest, the fastest and the most ferocious and intelligent of all. When another Black wolf is born he/she leaves to search for his/her mate. When they return they both must battle the currant chieftains, to the death, in wolf form. The offspring of the previous rulers, are accepted by the entire clan. There are no exceptions to this rule. Hardly ever does the previous ruler win against the new.
- Wolps love to hunt. They eat almost any animal they can catch. they must be quick, tireless, clever, and fearless to be superb hunters. They usually eat most of their kill raw, but not always. Until the age of six the young only eat cooked food. The heart and liver of the kill is considered the best and most important part of the prey. To give these organs to some one is a symbol of love and respect. Wolps hunts at any time of the day or night. When the members gather together to begin a hunt, they greet each other with howls. Their howling becomes very loud, in honor of Their prey, and of their togetherness.
- Many people fear and despise the Galla Wolf Clan. They believe them to be primitive savages and their eerie howl frightens them. People believe them to be evil and would either try to kill a wolp or trap them and sell them as slaves; unless they were in wolf form, then they'd be skinned. For these reasons wolps are very cautious when it comes to others and study them before acting.
