After receiving many inquiries concerning my choice of a handle, I have decided that it would be a public service to explain myself, my intentions, and my dreams.

As many of you may not know, EMM386 is the master of a great evil. A bane of all computer users, he has been known to crash computers around the world. "EMM," as he is sometimes called, is also a coward. Rarely does he do anything directly; rather he gives instructions to his General, Protection Fault . Gen. Fault then uses his horrid army of Error #1, #2, #3, #4, #5, and (gasp!) #6 to do the grunt work. When the dust clears, EMM386 steps in and takes credit for all the terrible destruction incurred by his army.

Now then, you may be beginning to wonder why I would take on the name of such a vile creature. Well, I can't go into details (far too risky...even I am not beyond EMM386's horrid grasp!), but suffice be it to say that I am out to destroy EMM386 from the inside out. Generations of programmers have proved that a direct confrontation is not possible; rather, I seek to ruin his reputation. Do you think that the real EMM386 would waste his time with a manifesto? Certainly not! Therefore, I have taken on the responsibility of both informing others of his terrible evil, and causing a deadly loss of prestige for him.

With the help of all the talented individuals that frequent this homepage, I hope that even more support for my cause can be gained. Remember, only together can we drive EMM386 out of power and restore the world to its previously happy state.
