There are a lot of guys, spending a lot of time, creating help lines, chat rooms and message boards to try to unite all Dads, and end courts discrimination of almost all Dads! BUT, this won't help our cause at ALL! Think about it, has it done ANY good? Well, besides giving us a place we can go to and vent! I want to do something so my sons won't have to go through what we have had to endure. How about YOU?
Cigarettes are KNOWN to KILL ... but they're still selling them! Alcohol is also deadly ... but there are few laws banning their sale too! WHY? Because these companies are continually LOBBYING!
IF we ever really intend to do ANYTHING to change the laws that are restricting us, we have to LOBBY! There are almost 500 Congressmen and Senators who need to hear our message! And it's a good message! Equal rights for all parents! For the benefit of the CHILDREN! A feather in any politician's hat! Let's get THEM to fight our fight ... and change the laws ... for the CHILDREN!
Unfortunately, this takes MONEY..... and LOTS of it! BUT with the help of ALL Dads it won't cost much, per Dad! What would it be worth for you to KNOW your son or grandson will be given the respect that fatherhood should have given us from the beginning?
Where do we START? We have to send a "Votergram"! Votergrams can be addressed to the vast majority of politicians, and each one will KNOW who else has received one! This encourages them to do something about the issue rather than just ignore it! Cost? About $3,000.00 (for almost 500 politicians to get one)! But that's just the beginning of costs, and I assure you, the end result will be well worth our money!
