What's New at Just Like Heaven?

12/27/99 So I stop in to check up on JLH for my monthly checkup, and what do I find? My counter's gone wacky again! After tearing at my hear and banging my head against the monitor a couple of times, I sighed and put the counter at the vague estimate of what I thought the number should be, or at least, what it was the last time I checked on it. As to other updates, there actually are some coming; I have plans to expand the condom section, since many people do want proper instruction on how to use one (without their teeth... *grin*) and I'm going to clean up the Awards section, because, well... it's pretty outdated, and I have more awards to put up! ha! Also, I have a few letters coming... so stay tuned, true believers... I'm thinking this should all happen by February, because I'm lazy.
10/19/99 It occurred to me today that Just Like Heaven had been up for well over a year at this point, and so I figured I'd check on my counter, just for the hell of it... What did I find? It was down to 618 hits! I've been deeply traumatized. I don't know how or why this happened, but it almost made me cry. But it's ok. I cheated and put it at 45,000 hits, because that's what I figured it'd be at. If anyone knows the truth, or saw it at a higher number before today, please let me know!

8/4/99 Oh my Goddess! Big fat update... this took me forever, but I finally transferred six new letters into HTML format (because I broke down and used the Netscape Composer... I'm a hoser! What ever happened to the days where I was using emacs and notepad??), and they're there for you to see and enjoy. Now you better go enjoy them, or I'll stomp my foot and be generally petulant. *grin* Also, I took down that banner for match.com... It was even starting to get on my nerves... =O)

7/30/99 Another long overdue update...I put up a link to Gay Men's Health Crisis, definitely worth checking out, and one to safersex.org. I took that annoying banner off of the Condom Fun page, and I also updated the letters section, so hopefully you guys can get a kick out of that. =O)

2/16/99 FINALLY updated the Mailbag section, which still has more to go, but now actually has a few letters on it. *grin* Got another award, and that's up on the awards page now... that's it for now. More news as it happens.

1/4/99 Added a Myth vs. Fact section, which I'll be adding more to as time goes on. In the process of looking for a few things...

11/28/98 Added an awards page, which is still buggy, and not as aesthetically pleasing as I'd like it to be, but Front Page was giving me grief with the tables, so I'll just work on it another time. I continue making grand plans to update the letters page (SEND ME MAIL!) and put up a MB. We'll see. *grin*

11/14/98 Finally completed the process of Just Like Heaven's major cosmetic surgery! Just Like Heaven is now all pretty and stuff (which is really scary... it's almost frighteningly cheerful around here...) Found some neat-o new backgrounds, added a link or three, updated the mail page (sorta), made the survey page more readable, and am making plans to put up a Message Board. Woo hoo!

10/6/98 Gave the page a real name, finally! Started the process of making the backgrounds a little less busy, and the page a little more readable. Working on updating the links section some. Took down the highly dysfunctional MB.

8/5/98. Did a big ole, long overdue, overhaul of the page, which is still in progress. Added a survey/poll, which is pretty cool... changed the background of the main page (that thing was UGLY... I know it now...) Coming soon: I'll FINALLY update the mailbag page, and add to the links. I'll keep on top of it better now, as I have the means to now.

5/18/98. Added Links Section, What's New section, and Message board, in addition to putting that neat little finder thing on top of the main page. *grin*
