Chapter One:

Moments Of Memories Past

The day was bright. A cloudless sky, the sun shining and laughter was in the air. Everyone was carefree, loving and no threat of danger was anywhere. Two teenage boys were throwing a large red ball to each other while one teenage boy was on a flying broomstick, trying to catch a golden flying speck in the air. The teenage boy had wild black hair, brown eyes, black perfectly circular glasses, and a really little tiny scar on his cheek from playing Quidditch too much. He wore a long hooded black cloak that had his school insignia on it, as well as a pair of very nice black dress shoes, nice white dress shirt, a Grey vest, and a very distinguishing gold and yellow striped tie. He was a seventh year student at Hogwarts: School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. His name was James Potter. He landed next to his friend who almost looked like him but instead he had dark brown hair, and very amazing blue eyes. His name was Sirius Black. Next to Sirius was Remeus Lupin who had tawny Blonde hair and deep blue eyes. Remeus always had a 5: 00 shadow whatever he did to his face. So he didn't shave unless it was necessary. And also this very small boy, who was almost the same age, was Peter Pettigrew. He always looked a bit like a Rat with small watery eyes and a pointed out nose that seemed to smell everything. Including food that he so much loved. He was round and plump and never turned down a snack. He was just sitting there with his small pointed nose in a school book called "Unfogging The Future"

A few yards away were these two chatty girls who seemed to talk about everything, including gossip. One had silverish blonde hair that was very fair and she had the most amazing green eyes that anyone had ever seen! Her name was Gweneth Malfoy, and the girl next to her had Fire like hair and emerald eyes as well. Her name was Lily Evans. The Redhead was laughing and the blonde haired teenage girl was pointing at this geeky guy with shoulder length silly looking hair. His brown eyes were expressionless. He was talking to a blind person who was wearing black, navy, and bronze trimmed robe. "So Vincent what's wrong?" Vincent replied his tone emotionless. "Nothing Severus. Everything is alright." Vincent could see now, although he was still tapping around, as if he was still blind. No one really knows who he truly was. Although he showed quite a bit of interest in Gweneth Malfoy. Severus always had a crush on her (Gweneth AKA Gwennie). Severus laughed as he was looking on Gwennie "She's beautiful isn't she?" He asked his friend Vincent about her. "Yeah I guess for a Malfoy." Vincent said Sarcastically. "Well I have to get back to the Ravenclaw dorms and study. See you later" Vincent said almost as sarcastically as his comment before.

Severus hadn't realized that Vincent's whole blind scheme was a ploy to get into peoples hearts as a obedient little boy. He wishes now to this day that he did notice, before it was too late. (little future thing there)

Vincent came back and corrected himself "That is if i could see her beauty, You know I'm blind!" Vincent thought to himself "Man if he would of figured out that I could see I would be in trouble....Or my plan wouldn't work. Damn my big mouth." Vincent repeated. "I still have to study. See you later Severus." Vincent walked off and Severus was sitting there watching Gweneth and Lily talking gaily (As in happily) about normal things and he smiled as he hid his head behind a school book "Defense Against The Dark Arts" He read it all the time. He dreamt it would be someday, his dream job. His mom and dad were Arours and hated evil. They would do anything to get rid of it. So he wanted to follow in his grandma's footsteps and teach "Defense Against The Dark Arts" Although he hated James Potter, because of all the jokes that were played on him. He never noticed that once Potter saved his life from Lupin. Still reading and looking every now and then, Severus didn't notice that Gweneth was advancing towards him. "Hmm What are you reading?" She said. Severus is normally shy so he doesn't talk much to others. "O-oh nothing. Just Defense Against The Dark Arts that's all. I mean y-you have to read it to get ahead in your magic that's all." She looked at him puzzled because he was reading Level 7 and had Level 8 beside him. "Its a little higher learning right. Its year sevens book." Severus looked at her innocently with his brown eyes. "I got bored with year Six. Because I had read it in my third year four times. I have read all of them many times. I want to be ready when people need me most. You know. I want to be an Arour so people wont hurt other people. I find that terribly wrong and not comfortable. Well at least I want to live up to my Parents expectations of me." He only did it for the love of his family. He didn't mind watching others get hurt, as long as it wasn't himself. Slytherins never care what happens to others, as long as it will get them farther than where they were before. (So true..lol!) Severus thought for a minute that he was placed in the wrong house because he felt more noble than leaving others to fend for themselves. But he ended up in Slytherin. Although he would rather be with Gweneth in Ravenclaw.

Severus looked into Gweneth's beautiful emerald green eyes. Which were so much different than Lucius Malfoy's Stale Gray eyes. There was something much more different in Gweneth that Severus swore he only knew about her. That she hated the fighting and the evil. So she became the black sheep of her family and wanted the evil to stop. And that was what Severus saw in her eyes. And that's what he loved her for. For the devotion to stop the evil and the crimes that were being committed. Severus stayed a moment looking into her eyes. Then he decided to retreat. "S-sorry I have to study. I got to get back to my d-dorms." He hurried off, not noticing that Gweneth showed her smile and in her eyes she loved him back. So rare was this. And so powerful they would know that they would meet again forever. Although something dark and mysterious blossomed in Gweneth's mind. She knew her future. Almost down to the very last moment she breathes. She knew that someone, but she didn't know who, was going to kill her for her noble future. But she saw in her future that Severus would be and is her Soul mate. "So long my Soul mate" She muttered to herself.

Severus had low self esteem, or just didn't believe in himself enough. "Why did I back out. Why didn't I just tell her how I feel, and I wouldn't feel so bad about it. Its worth a try." He said while he was sitting on his bed. He was alone since the day was so nice outside. And he didn't have very many friends, and He didn't know that Vincent was using him. So in fact he didn't have any friends. In the warm spring air invited him to sleep and so he did. Suddenly he felt as if he was still sleeping as he awoke suddenly in the nighttime, and the dreamy air surrounded him. He was still drowsy. He noticed that he was still lonely on his bed. He wished to himself that Gweneth would be there. Suddenly he heard a knock on the door. "Hello? Can I come in?" It was a female voice! "S-sure." The doorknob turned and he gasped as he saw Gweneth Malfoy come into the dorm room with her nighttime gown on and she smiled as she sat down on his bed. Cowering, suddenly a magic like no other tempted him to go to her and lay there in her lap. He felt like he was in a dream. He pinched himself "No this isn't a dream" he said in his mind. They spent the night in each others arms...kissing and cuddling. But suddenly a noise reached him like the bell of the tower of the school and suddenly. He awoke. Finding that no one was in the room. He let out a single tear and wished that it was real.

Depressed and even more lonely, and even more in love with Gweneth; Severus got up and got ready for one of the Happiest Day (unannounced to him) of his life. He stepped in his first class with Professor Dumbledore. Professor Dumbledore had Blonde hair and deep blue eyes. He was only in his mid 40's as he smiled that only too convincing smile that he always does. He was the teacher for Transfiguration. He waited till all the students were in their desks and he began to teach.

"Today we are going to turn a ant into a British muggle pound." (Simple...yet hard...ants walk too much to make them stop lol!) Minerva McGonnagal, as old as Severus smiled and said rather promptly. "Your late Severus. What took you so long? Poking around to watch Gwennie again?" Although Severus hated to admit it. Minerva was one of his regrettable friends and liked to talk (Kind of like Hermione and Ron lol but not that close ) Severus sat down and took out his parchment and his wand. She whispered as Professor Dumbledore droned on "What is wrong with you today? Severus?" She obviously quit two times ahead of herself, because he wasn't paying attention. She peered over her square like glasses and sighed as she took notes for class. She really wanted to know what was wrong with Severus Snape. But she didn't want to prod into his business. The hour finished and she had a perfectly round British muggle pound in front of her and Severus's was still moving....With Ant legs. It was obvious that he wasn't paying attention. "Five points from Slytherin. Pay attention next time Severus." He smiled nervously and headed off to his next class. His favorite class since Gweneth was in it. Potions.

As Severus walked off to Potions, Vincent caught up with him, ignoring his stick, which made him look awfully suspicious for a moment. Vincent made a few weird comments and headed off for his class, tapping around as if no one noticed his hurried catch up with his so called best friend Severus. Severus shrugged as he headed to the basement. One thing he looked forward to, was sitting next to Gwennie. It was almost the Highlight of each coming day in his sixth year. And he loved fate today since that dream and Potions. Just like any other lesson Professor Snape (His grandmother ^_^ ) and her feminine air, and her whole way of teaching the subject, made everyone look forward to potions. Gwennie smiled as she sat next to Severus. Severus showed a genuine smile as he paid attention to the board and to his boiling cauldron. Unannounced to Severus, Gwennie liked being partnered up with the geeky, bumbling, stumbling idiot of sorts who was mostly charming to her. She thought it was cute, how "real" he was with every single move. He wasn't fake and pompous like other rich snobby boys. Much like her brother Lucius. She knew that Severus would be a faithful loving partner both in love and in friendship. And he would love her the best way he knew how. As they boiled a Memory Enhancing Potion and poured it into a vial, they knew class was over, and his grandmother would have all the potion she needed to remember where she put that darned test. (LOL!) Mostly because his grandmother forgot a lot, and that she forgot to give tests to the students. That's why she was so neat. Severus Snape was still sitting there gathering his things, when a note on Gwennie's desk was laying there.

"Severus Snape,

I love your Charming Princely looks. And your not like other guys I have dated. your not shallow and your real, and deep like the ocean and your eyes show the stars and the moon in the sky. And I would love being the love of your life, and your forever.

Love, Gweneth

Iris Malfoy."

He ran his way to her. Seven minutes left till the next class. He caught up with her. As soon as she turned around he put his hands in hers. It was if it was all in slow motion. Everything in his eyes told her that he would be her forever, and that he loved her too. "I love you too, and I would love being your forever." Severus whispered in her ear, gently. Her emerald eyes were filled with tears, as her soul mate gently leaned in and passionately kissed her lips. He gently wiped the tears from her cheek. They held each other for just a few moments, until that bell rang and they knew that they wouldn't see each other again till after the school day was over. They held each others hand and walked to their next classes. They separated, not wanting to let go. He regretted this and so they let go.

All through Divination, and the rest of the classes, he daydreamed that he was back in Gweneths arms. He ignored everything Trelawnie and the rest of what everyone had to say. (DADA isn't today, he would be paying attention LOL!) James and Sirius and Lupin were all laughing, for what Severus didn't know. The perfumed air was enough to make anyone sleepy, so he drifted off into a dreamless sleep till the end of the class. Every other class was just as boring as the next. He wanted to be in her arms. After all the classes were over she wasn't where she said she would be. Suddenly the weird thing that Vincent said just clicked in.

"She wont be there you know. If you truly love her. You will know exactly where she is. And if you don't. You know what will happen." He gasped for air as he started to run. To where she was. But she wasn't there. Where was she?
