 Full House started in September 1987.
 
 The show is about San Francisco talk-show host Danny Tanner (played by Bob Saget) and his big,loving family. As the story goes, Danny's wife Pam, died in a car accident. Danny was left tocare for his 3 daughters: the edlest daughter Donna Joe, better known as D.J. (played byCandace Cameron; the middle daughter Stephanie (played by Jodie Sweetin); and the adorableyoungest daughter Michelle (played by twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen). At the time, D.J. wasstill in elementry school, Stephanie was in kindergarden, and Michelle was a timy baby!It didn't take long for Danny to realize that he would need help raising 3 active girls. A lotof help! He persuaded his best friend Joey Gladstone (played by Dave Coulier) and hisbrother-in-law Jesse Katsopolos (played by John Stamos) to move into their house at 1882 GirardStreet, San Francisco, California, and help out. What a Full House. The 3 girls LOVED having 3"dads". And even though thiers wasn't a "typical family", the fun and adventures never stoped.
 
 Uncle Jesse, the coolest Elvis-loving uncle around, met and fell in love with Rebecca Donaldson(played by Lori Loughlin), and they got married. Rebecca is Danny's co-host on the morning talkshow Wake Up, San Francisco!. Becky soon gave birth to twin boys Nicky and Alex (played byBlake and Dylan Tuomy-Wilhoit)-adding two new characters to the ever-expanding cast.Uncle Jesse loves rock 'n' roll. he formed his own band, Jesse and the Rippers. Then one day hemade it bag and became a rock star (Actor John Stamos is truely an accomplished musician, andreally does play the guitar, the drums, and sing on the show!). Now Jesse owns the ultra-hipSmash Club.
 
 Joey keeps the Tanner house laughing until their sides hurt with his wacky cartoon voices. Hespent years as a stand-up comedian (and so did actor Dave Coulier!). Then Joey found theperfect job-as Ranger Joe, a cartoon host on Saturday morning T.V. He also hosts a radioprogram with Uncle Jesse, called, "The Rush Hour Renegades". And now he's PTA co-president!Danny Tanner is always around for his daughters-and always urging them to clean, clean, clean.He's affectionately known as "Mr. Clean". For a while, Danny fell in love with Vicky Larson, aguest host on his talk show. But things didn't work out. So Danny's still looking for love. Andstill cleaning!
 
 D.J. is finishing high school. And dating. A lot! First there was first-love, Steve Hale(played by Scott Weinger). Then there was ultra-rich boyfriend Nelson Burkhardt. And them therewas rocker-boyfriend Viper. And now it looks like D.J.'s back with Nelson! But no matter whothe boyfriend is, D.J. always has time for her best friend Kimmy Gibbler.Kimmy (played by Addrea Barber) has been D.J.'s best friend since the first season. Back whenshe was annoying and always at the Tanners' house. And she still is annoying, and always at theTanners' house.
 
 In the beginning, Steohanie was the tomboy of the famiy. But today , even though she still canprobably throw a softball better than either of her sisters, Stephanie has grown up to be quitea teenager. She's now in junior high, and has a new group of cool friends. And in her freetime, when she's not baby-sitting, her little sister Michelle, or her twin cousins, she can befound, dancing-her favorite-spying on D.J.! Stephanie's fans can now read about her adventuresin the best-selling book series, Full House: Stephanie.
 
 Michelle, who started out as a little baby on the show, has really grown-up. Full House fanswatched her take her first steps, and say her first words-and they have fallen in love with thecute Olsen twins who take turns portraying Michelle on the show. Now in elementry school,Michelle shares a bedroom with Stephanie. She like bossing around her twin cousins-sometimesits' fun not being the baby in the family! Michelle is the star of her own book series too-FullHouse: Michelle. And finally, to make a full hamily even fuller, there's comet Tanners' golden retriever.
