If you're in or near Tucson, we desperately need your help!

This coming Tuesday morning, March 14th, the Pima County Board of
Supervisors will, without the proper 15-day advance legal notice, attempt
to ban county gun shows and conduct background checks on private firearms
sales.

Then, on the following Monday night, March 20th, the City of Tucson will
attempt to do the same thing at the City Council meeting.

Didn't think they could ever do this because both the city and county are
prevented from acting in this manner under the current language in ARS
13-3108? Guess again!

Remember what Ken Rineer's challenge has taught the silly people of "legal
faith" in this state: THE LAW DOESN'T MEAN WHAT IT SAYS!

We need as many pro-gun people there (at BOTH meetings) as humanly possible
to be able to articulately speak out against the proposed bans. WE NEED
YOUR HELP NOW because the "regular cast of characters" who spend every
waking moment defending our right to keep and bear arms will be up in
Phoenix working on HB-2095 next Tuesday so we can stop these petty fascists
from Tucson dead in their tracks!

Here's "The Skinny" on what's happening next Tuesday:
--

Seems this is a two parter.

1. Instant check on local shows.

2. Bans shows on county property.

Carroll is no on both. Bronson is no on ban, probable no on checks.

Is Mikey ready to vote to ban gun shows at the Fairgrounds and lose all that
revenue to the private sector????

Now try this. FIRST CA's opinion said Pima County didn't have authority. That
was pulled and given to another lawyer by Chief Deputy Mary Judge Ryan, girl
Congressional candidate. She gave opinion writing to another lawyer.

Classic example of "when I want your opinion I'll give it to you."

Gee, who checks the checkers?

March 10 - 2030 MST - It is on the agenda for Tuesday 3/14 -
Expect Grijalva to have a bunch of tear jerkers there to tell
their stories and as much media as he can get.

This is likely to be a "set the stage" for an ordinance presentation.

Even though there may be no public comment allowed, it would be worthwhile
to have as many people from our side there as possible - wearing things that
identify them as gun owners - just to make Boyd, et al, uncomfortable.

Get the picture, kids?

WE NEED YOU TO BE THERE!

Hey, if you do get the opportunity to speak but don't know what to say,
simply stand there and ***READ ALOUD*** ARS 13-3108 for your full five
minutes, over and over again. Hell, what better way to make your point than
to read these freaks the LAW for the duration of your presentation? That'd
be newsworthy...

More to follow, but please make plans to skip work and be at the
Supervisors meeting Tuesday morning if you plan on keeping what's left of
your rights.

Thanks, all.

Phil
