Told by who?

Is ASH a GAY atheist orginazation?

As ASH President last time I checked ASH is not a GAY orginazation and I am NOT gay.

Although ASH will gladly accept Gay people into our group we are NOT a Gay Organization!

But as WEvans pointed out and I verified ASH is listed in the June 24, 1999 issue of ECHO Magazine a Phoenix Arizona gay magazine as being a GAY Atheist orginazation.

On page 44 in the Community ECHOS section it says

Arizona Secular Humanists, a gay-founded nonprofit corporation meets every other Sunday for discussions, workshops, socializing and speakers that espouse the concept of ethical living without religion. information 602-230-5328. Also try the GLBT Secular Humanists at 602-481-0934.

and continued on page 88 it says

Ash Wednesday, a gay established organization for people who do not believe in God, meets to socialize at 7pm every Wednesday at IHOP, 225 E Apache Blvd, Tempe, Information 602-667-6488.

This number 602-667-6488 appears to be Paul Putz phone number.
