Our first ever Libertarian Forum is getting off to a flying start! Various Libertarian activists and Second Amendment champions have spread the word widely. Pima College government classes, the U of A, all Tucson firearms stores, even the parks themselves have been covered. The media is interested since both our debaters are public figures. Arrangements have been made to record the debate on both cassette and videotape.
Try very hard to be at the Forum. Bring someone with you, preferably someone who is unsure if law-abiding citizens should be allowed the chance to defend themselves in public parks. We know that we will not change the minds of any serious anti-gunners. We are interested presenting the issue to people who are yet undecided. And we are interested in showing the amount of support that exists for an end to this offensive and useless (unless you are a criminal!) City legislation.
Below is a resend of the basic info regarding the Forum. Try to arrive as early as possible. You will need to in order to assure a seat for yourself and your guests!
