Rick,

I sent a msg to Sen Spitzer in support. At the LD 18 meeting yesterday he said that he supported the re emption bill. He's pretty straight. I have little problem with him (except for Shannon's law). Some of the 'bullet" points I suggested were:

What sanctions should there be against the City of Tucson and/or the individuals in power there that decided that they could break state law? Who charges them and to what court?

Govt is charged with protecting an individual's rights, Why is City of Tucson not doing this? (violation of oath etc) How hypcritical is it for politicians to promise something that they KNOW they cannot fulfill and have no legal obligation to provide? (An individual's personal safety)

I don't remember the rest of the points but you get the gist of it.

Ref the article: Where is it?

the comments about "sick". response "No Rep XXXX, what is sick is bureaucrats, judges, politicians and legislators that violate the oath that they made to US to protect our rights then violate that oath on a daily basis. Civil servants that promise to protect us (provide individual personal safety) knowing full well that they cannot do this and have no legal obligation to do so. Now THAT is '"sick". What are we suppose to do about "sick" people like that Rep?

Comments?

Gary
