[Hey Phill: Here is a combination of three of your loves... Jaguar's XK8, London and censorship. Ain't the UK grand? For those who don't know Phill Hallam-Baker is a liberal British Jaguar owner living in Boston. Regards, Matt-]

Daily Telegraph London 9/2/2000
Jaguar was today ordered to withdraw an advertisement for its exclusive XK8 series which was judged to encourage motorists to speed. '
It featured a blurred image of an XK8 travelling around a bend, above the caption "Ah the excitement, the thrill, the uninhibited freedom of yesterday (Not to mention tomorrow, the day after, the day after that)".
The Advertising Standards Authority ordered withdrawal of the advertisement on the grounds that it could encourage people to drive irresponsibly.
