My recollection of past LP campaigns is such that it was Channel 8 that was inclusive in gubernatorial debates. I suppose they are compelled to include all candidates qualified for the ballot. I am also aware of AZLP taking warrants (checkoffs from AZ income tax returns to eligible political parties) and depositing them in years past. Once a political party has managed to sustain continuing ballot access, the party gets included on the state income tax form. Citizens filing returns may designate some amount from their return to go to the political party indicated by the filer.
Those are facts. I guess it all revolves around one sides' refusal to accept money tainted by the government versus one sides' belief in using the said money to destroy the process of creating the tainted money in the first place.
I recognize and appreciate the arguments of both sides in this matter. Now requires the time of thoughtful decision and action.
