2. We believe that a Power greater than ourselves could restore us to sanity. That only government has that power to save us from ourselves.
3. We made a decision to turn our will and our lives over to the care of Government, as it is anything they say it is.
4. Made a searching and fearless moral inventory of ourselves. But that doesn't matter, nothing we find could compare with the power of the government's courts.
5. Admitted to Government, to ourselves and to another humans that personal rights are a thing of the past and have no place in this government world.
6. We are entirely ready to have Government remove all these defects of character. (Mostly by providing examples of characterless leaders.)
7. Humbly ask Government to make the sentence light if we should regress into thoughts of self-reliance, personal responsibility, and individual rights.
8. Make a list of all persons we know who hold such thoughts and turn that list over to government immediately.
9. Made direct amends to such people wherever possible so that when the knife is driven into their backs, we'll be in front of them and will have an alibi.
10. To never take personal inventory, and if we find anything of value, promptly deny it.
11. Sought through meditation, crystals, the stars, the wind, the moon, the tea leaves, and of course all official government sources to improve our conscious contact with Government as it is whatever it says it is. Praying only for safety and security for us and the power to stay out of harm's way.
12. Having had a spiritual awakening as the result of these steps, we tried to carry this message to other "constitutionalists" and to practice these principles in all our affairs.
Thank you, Eric. This puts everything into perspective. Hell, even the talking monkeys could figure it out when you put it this way. Well... maybe I'm being a tad optimistic.
There are still quite a few registered Democrats out there.
