i guess life is really a bitch for officer rick salgado caught red handed stealing toys from a childrens drive and he gets punished for it. jeez some theifs just dont under stand its a crime to steal.
i can understand officers salgado feelings and yours that police officers should be held to a lower standard then the public and when they are caught stealing or doing some other evil crime police shouldnt be punished for their crimes like the general public is.
your article ran on page 1 of section b. on page 3 their is an article about 75 year old amy taylor a women in cronic pain who was kicked out of city hall for when she became angry while compaining about her health problems.
she kicked a cop as she was escorted out of the building and was charged with aggravated assult and disorderly conduct.
i suspect that you and officer salgado probably feel criminals like this little old lady should be locked up and the key thrown away.
sorry for disagreeing with you but im glad officer rick salgado was fired and think that all police who commit crimes should be punished and held accountable for their actions which is NOT what usually happens.
the police are trained at the police acadmey they know the law and the rules are and should be held to a higher standard then the public when it comes to obeying the law. when police break the law they should be punished.
i have exactly the oppsite feelings about old lady amy taylor. she probably didnt know the law. she probably thought she had the right of free speach to complain about here problems to the government and probably didnt know she was breaking the law. its a crime that the police arrested her. at most the police should have tried to calm her down, and if that didnt work kick her out of the building.
