Actually, there is a very amusing article in The Champion [the magazine of the National Criminal Defense Association] of about a year ago summarizing what various federal courts have held to be reasonable indicia of a "drug courier profile". It turns out that you can be short or tall, dark or light, well dressed or poorly dressed, nervous or confident, in a hurry or loitering, etc. and, presto chango, you're a drug courier. I'll see if I can pull the article off line and forward it to the list.
