the webmaster notes - i ride my bicycle 10 miles a day and have rode thousands of miles on phoenix tempe, scottsdale, mesa, and tucson streets and never been stopped once for the many traffice violation i have committed. while law says bikes have to obey the same traffic laws as cars the bike laws are not enforced.
i suspect that when the phoenix cops shot this guy for riding with out a headlight they were using it as a pretext to shake him down, get him to give up his civil right and then search him for drugs, run his name thru the computer to see if he had any warrents out, and the usuall stuff. him for drugs,
i will guess the guy is BLACK and the incident happened in south phoenix which has many black people living there.
the webmasters guess was correct the guy who the phoenix police shot was black. the guy was shot in the area of the arizona state capital which is an area that borders south phoenix and populated by a large number of minoritys
