That is an opinion of a past AG, the new AG may not have that opinion nor is really bound by it.
So what I can gather it is unlawful for you to be there after they asked you for you weapon.
What about this, C. Subsection A, paragraphs 1, 2, 3, 7, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of this section shall not apply to: 4. A person specifically licensed, authorized or permitted pursuant to a statute of this state or of the United States.
I am licensed to carry a weapon consealed so I am immune to the request of check
