in the old days criminals wore ski masks and and black hats.
thats changed now the criminals on government swat teams wear black ski masks to conceal their id from the citizens as they break into homes, seize property, and do other outrages things.
its interesting that while government thugs wear masks these days the government wont let its citizens wear masks.
while i see the KKK as nothing more then a bunch of hatefull bigots the government should allow them the same rights as other citizens. the government lets children wear masks every halloween, so why should the government keep these bigoted jerks from wearing masks? i see no reason.

16 Klan members minus masks face 8,000 N.Y.C. protesters
NEW YORK (AP) - After days of legal maneuvering about their rights to rally, Ku Klux Klan members stood silently inside a pen fashioned from police barricades yesterday and faced thousands of protesters.
York City succeeded in unmasking the Klan when a federal appeals court ruled Friday that the city could refuse to permit the event if participants insisted on wearing their traditional masks. The Klan contingent wore their traditional pointed hats, minus the usual face cover.
Police reported seven arrests, all counter-demopstrators, on a variety of charges - including one man who allegedly assaulted a Klansman just prior to the rally by 16 Klan members outsider courthouse in lower Manhattan. He and two other men posed as Klan members to infiltrate 'lie group.
"Death to the Klan!" shoued one of the trio as police led them off. The other two men were charged with disorderly conduct
While the Klan had predicted that up to 80 of its members would turn out, barely more than a dozen appeared.
The crowd of anti-Klan pro- testers, estimated at about 8,000, jeered and shouted angrily at the Klansmen as they walked out."'
