Tonight's CBS news ran an interesting segment on how used "Police Guns" end up in the hands of criminals. The key paragraph is as follows:
"CBS News obtained a copy of the ATF's firearms trace database through the Freedom of Information Act. BS News found, since 1990, more than 3,000 police guns have been connected to crimes, including 293 homicides, 301 assaults and 279 drug-related crimes. "
YUP! The video clip demo showed what appeared to be a CBS newsreporter scrolling through clearly legible firearm serial numbers, types, names, addresses, statistics, etc ...
Shucks, I'd like a copy. Any suggestions on how to proceed?
