My neighbors, my wife and I were reminiscing about when *we* were kids with regard to medication. I can remember carrying a backpack with aspirin, Tylenol, my asthma inhaler, etc. I used to administer my own and frequently gave my friends aspirin, etc., if they needed it.

It absolutely amazes me that kids today can get expelled for this...witness the recent girl who was suspended for giving her friend Midol.

And one more thing...my neighbor's kid, 6th grade, told me that she is REQUIRED to take the D.A.R.E. program...no program, no graduation. Lose the book, no graduation. What kind of crap is this? Can a school REQUIRE the DARE program??
