Criminals don't obey signs
I find it sickeningly amusing that a group of Arizona chiefs of police have the nerve to parade at the state Capitol to tell me that allowing the city of Tucson to place a "No Weapons" sign at the entrance to a park will somehow make me or my wife safer as the local criminal ignores the admonition. I might believe these policemen were it not for their bullet-resistant vests and Glock 22s on their duty belts.
