BTW, the list FAQ is on a UK-based server. I don't know yet if the list is
supposed to be about the US or not, or whether the owner is here or not.

anyway, i haven't had time to post an introduction until now.
as you know, my name is eugene stoner.
i used to not know anything about guns, or really care.
but about 6 months ago my friend was killed by a crazy person with a some
type of over powered gun that only militia wackos need (i think it was one
of those "automatic muzzleloaders" you always here about on TV)
anyway, that in itself made me very anti-gun.
now i just saw on the news that somebody killed someone at a half mile away
with one of those .12 gauge sniper guns.
is this beirut or america?
there is no reason why gun ownership should be allowed to civilians.
why does anyone need these weapons of mass destruction?
anyhow, thats my intro. i probably wont post to much as i'm here to learn,
but i will help when i can.
