Affordable Housing:

Make developers set aside 10% of new housing.

For single family homes the land price can not exceed it's cost to the developer and the state will kick in the cost of the roads/sewers and waive the impact fee.  The home selected will be built at cost by the developer.

For multi family developments the units will be offered at cost and must be spread throughout the complex.

In both cases qualified buyers will be selected by lottery and must live in the home for a minimum period.  The buyers must be Florida residents and have lived in the county of the development for a year prior to their  application.  When the property is sold by the resident  the developer will share in any profit minus the costs paid by the state.
