Studio Notes & Comments: Another Electric Yoghurt rocker! Following on the hard rock heels of "Blues@10", this tale of the "zoo" that it the financial world, thunders along in a vein reminscent of the good old days of AC/DC! This song came about from our increasing trend of jamming around on ideas together, rather than turining up with more-or-less completed songs. I had come up with the basic riffs and chord structure, but was stuck on where to go on the chorus until Jimmy suggested a variation on the bridge section....which worked! The verses rock along with the AC/DC-style riffs and the choruses feature some nice hanging arpeggios. This was our first entirely POD-powered recording at the home studio and the guitars sound grrrrreat :-). Using some nice Marshall and Mesa/Boogie amp models with the Ibanez and Gibson rhythm guitar tracks played slightly differently and well-split in the stereo mix, this is probably the best guitar sound we've ever achieved so far.
