I (John Miller) have worked for years as a volunteer to the Eastern Cabarrus Historical Society in Mt. Pleasent NC. I have come to learn all about Captain Jonas Cook and the boys of Company "H". I have been a living historian for long time now, and its been a dream of mine to re-active and to pay honor to the Men of Company "H". Well December of 2000, I started this company. I know we are not large, but its not the size of the company but the honor to men that I formed Company H.
I hope the orginial Men of the 8th will look down from Heaven and bless us and be proud of what we are doing.
