You can get Yum Hed Yai Pao, or Yum Bet Yang, then have a nice variety of noodles, (I had Pad Thai), including glass noodles-continue with spice and/or curried dishes (Mussaman Curry).
Light libations also available.
I make these recommendations freely and with the confidence that you will have a pleasant experience.

OLD AND DISCARDED NOTICES
ARE BEING ACCUMULATED ON ANOTHER FILE
IF YOU ARE INTERESTED, YOU MAY READ THEM

Let me know how you like this, (from ENGLAND!)
(NOTE: WebTV™ may have to "click" twice, but the music
WILL
play!)
Normally, the City Council meets regularly
the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m.
The next meeting of the
CULVER CITY CITY COUNCIL
is scheduled for
MondayOctober 14, 2002
Be sure to attend or, at least watch on television! You can record this meeting, on your video cassette recorder (VCR). Channel 35 (cable) at 7:00pm, for more convenient viewing and possible archival purposes.
THIS IS A WAY OF OBSERVING OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS DO THEIR
JOB!
You can also SEE and HEAR the meetings, both on
TELEVISION, and on the RADIO. CHANNEL 35 (AT+T CABLE)
AND 1690 KC on the AM band of the RADIO. Remember, older
(pre 1985) radios may not be able to tune that high.
Radio Shack has a very inexpensive radio, that can do just
that!
I do NOT have control of the entries to any "OTHER"
site, and if it is not timely, I take no responsibility!
The Heart of Screenland is becoming just that. The "Downtown Plaza" is under construction and the Pacific Theaters Screenland theater complex is coming soon.
Remember, This Meeting is both Broadcast (1690 AM) and
Televised on Channel 35 (Cable)!
("Click" twice, if necessary)
The CITY COUNCIL "you" voted for, acting as "The
REDEVELOPMENT
AGENCY" has certified (!) a "FLAWED" and inaccurate,
incomplete,
and deceptive FEIR (FINAL ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT REPORT). In
closed sessions, ongoing, the "AGENCY" has been "SELLING"
all the property for the very development that has been under
discussion for almost three and one-half years, to the
developer that has been proposing a project too large, too intense, and an UNMITIGATABLE SMOG AND TRAFFIC GENERATOR.
While you stay home, your downtown threatens to become unhealthy
for the children and everyone else, as well as produce "GRIDLOCK" in the downtown area.
IS THIS WHAT YOU WANT?
Your car, when tested, if found to be a "GROSS POLLUTER" is
required, immediately, to be repaired! (or worse,
condemned!)
But, the CITY can pollute! Won't you object, please?
If this is allowed to happen, It will be permanent! It
will bring unhealthy pollution, noise, traffic, and up to 10,000
PEOPLE A DAY (and an estimated 4,000-7,000 automobile
trips -
read the report prepared by city's staff) to an area
adjacent to a quiet, residential neighborhood with a
GRAMMAR SCHOOL, LESS THAN A FOOTBALL FIELD'S LENGTH AWAY.
And, it will DESTROY THE QUALITY OF LIFE we have come to
enjoy!
Read about the NEW DDA (Design for Development Agreement) that has just been signed by The Redevelopment Agency and OliverMcMillan (published March 5, 2001, or was it SIGNED March 29, 2001?)
UPDATE!!
BUT, they are still negotiating??? (As of October 1, 2001)
There is sooo much confusion, here. Listening to meetings for YEARS, has not yielded much information. Open meetings, but still secrets?? (and !!!)
This site includes approximately 66+ links, most taking you
far
beyond the realm of the Culver City School District!
Included is weather around the world! Both State and
Government sites, and others too numerous to mention.
Suffice it to say, you will want to "bookmark" or "save"
the Culver City Unified School District Website!
I am so grateful our LIBRARY is part of the County Library
