A gathering of three Bensonites met in Monroe, Louisiana, traveling from their distant hometowns of D'Lo, Waldo, and Amherst.

Kindly Light, Georgie, and Susan Leg were joined by Bill for dinner on a Friday night in January.  The weather was unusually cold and windy for that locale but did not interfere with the enjoyment of the evening.

Georgie brought along Mardi Gras gift baskets of purple and gold that he had filled with parade beads, a specially labeled jar of bath salts, a bone china teacup, an assortment of teas, chocolate coins, and several shiny uncirculated British one penny coins.  It was all very festive!
Thanks!!!

On Saturday morning, the three Bensonites met again for a foray down Antiques Alley, braving the cold for visits in and out of many of the shops in a two block area.  Much looking, admiring, and comparing was done and several purchases were made before lunchtime.

Following a long, delightful, and delicious lunch, leave-takings had to be made since two of the party had long drives ahead of them that afternoon.
