The tigers are in serious DANGER of becoming extinct.If the situation doesnt improve,in years 2 come they will only be seen in zoos where they dont belong. Out of the 8 original species of tigers only 5 species remain with more heading for extinction. The 3 species 2 go extinct so far are THE JAVAN TIGER,THE BALI TIGER and THE CASPIAN TIGER. The 5 remaining tigers are the AMUR SIBERIAN TIGER (southeastern russia),INDOCHINESE TIGER (southeast asia),BENGAL TIGER (india),SUMATRA TIGER (indonesian islands) and the SOUTH CHINA TIGER (southern china). There is a WHITE tiger,which is a BENGAL tiger.It is created thru genetics.Only 1 in every 4000 BENGAL tigers is white.It has electric blue eyes,pink nose,all its fur is white with chocolate brown stripes.Today there are only 44 white tigers in the world.Its sad 2 say they are all in zoos around the world,has they fetch the highest price on the black market.The zoos after inbreed these 2 create more white tigers.
The male siberian tiger is the largest of all the cat family,reaching lengths of 3.3meters (10ft 9") from head 2 tail and weighing 300 kg (660 pounds.) It can reach speeds of 50 m.p.h in full flow,and eat 27kg in 1 meal.It targets mainly elk and wild boar,stalking them before ambushing its prey.A fully grown sibearian male will command a territory of 100-400km (62-248 miles sq.radus.) Deffending its territory against over males.The siberian tiger so far has survived 4 wars,2 revolutions but now faces its biggest battle,the onslaughts of its forrests and the poaching for its high price in the black market.In which the chinese use its organs for medicine.There are only estimated between 360-406 left in the wild,but experts fell the number is far less.
