The purpose of this website is to enable academics, agencies and individuals who are geographically distributed to share a common cyberdesk.
It is convened by Len Holmes, Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University.
At present Len is jointly editing a special issue of the Journal of Managerial Psychology, with Dian Marie Hosking (Aston University) and Margaret Grieco (Napier University), on "Distributed technology, distributed leadership, distributed identity: organising in the information age". Click here to see draft contents.
Many of the contributors to that special issue will be presenting papers on related issues from their research and scholarship in the Electronic Ontologies stream at the 8th International Colloquium of the Asia-Pacific Researchers in Organisation Studies (APROS) network, to be held in Sydney, Australia, 14-17 December 2000. |
Access the Easy Editor Briefcase through the appropriate link:
contributor access: | restricted by password to those persons who are contributing to the Special Issue of the Journal of Managerial Psychology, enabling them to store files as well as download them |
reader access: | open access for viewing designated files - however, you do need a Yahoo account; this is free, just click here and follow the instructions. |
The use of this collective cyberdesk will form the basis of a case study and a toolkit for other groups wishing to make maximum use of the internet and World Wide Web to work in a similar distributed manner.
Click on the APROS 2000 co-ordination link for information regarding arrangements for the Electronic Ontologies stream at APROS 2000 (travel arrangements of participants, stream timings, draft papers, email addresses, etc)
