Mysterious Angels part 1 Hello Everyone! and wwelcome to my Thundercats fan fic mini series. I have to put in a discalmer here, sorry people. The Thundercats are not my own creation. They were made back in the 80s by sum one else while I was still in elementary school. All such characters are on loan till such time when the story is over with and they'll be returned back to their proper place, time, and dimension. So, with that said and done, on with the show. PS please send all questions and coments to either the guestbook or to my email at tigra_hart@angelfire.com Thanks!!! *********************************************************************** Mysterious Angels Part 1 Angela Angel Tigra Angel Hart It's a warm sunny day on 3rd Earth, and Lion-O is out exploring/mapping with Snarf. The two are out in this forest the no one on 3rd Earth has been in for quiet sum time. "I don;t like the feel of this place Lion-o," Snarf said, as he looked around. He was getting the very distinct feeling that he was being wacthed. Lion-o could feel it as well. "I know Snarf. But it woul dbe nice to make a map of this area," Lion-o said. "But it's just woods in here Lion-o," Snarf said. "Not nessicarliy Snarf. We were told that people use to come through here a lot and there's some sort of building in the middle," Lion-o said. Snarf looked up at him. "Do you think anyone is still living there after all this time?" Snarf asked. "I'm not sure. That's why we're here though, to find out," Lion-o said then suddenly stopped. "What is it?' Snarf asked, stopping just beside him. "Listen," Lion-o said and Snarf pricked his ears. At first he could hear nothing and was about to say so when he heard the sound of a person in trouble. "Someone's in trouble," he said. "Yes, we've got ot help them," Lion-o said and began to follow the sounds. "Wait for me," Snarf said and quickly begna to follow Lion-o. The went to the Northeast side of the woods, close to where they came in and found a young lady being attacked by the Muntants. She was outnumbered, and it looked as if her leg was hurt. "Mutants. What are they doing here?" Snarf asked. "Well soon find out," Lion-o said and went over to help the girl. She saw him and looked right at Lion-o, giving away his surprise as he stepped in. "I'd stop this if I were you Mutants," he said, weilding the Sword of Omens. The Mutants looked at him very lerily. "He didn;t say that the Thundercats would get involved," Jackalman said quietly, but the girl could hear him. "What do we do now?" Monkian asked. "We don;t lety him get in the way," Slithe said, and they fought Lion-O as the girl looked on. She was surprised to see him for some reason, but she still tried to get up to move out of the way but couldn't. Soon, Lion- O was using the power of the Sword and it was stronger in the woods. This scared the Mutants off and surprised Lion-o and Snarf. "By Jaga, what just happened?" Snarf asked. "I'm not quite sure Snarf," Lion-o said, looking the sword over, which was now dagger size. "These woods have a high magick content and often increase the power of a talisman, such as yours the girl said. The two finally looked over at her. She looked to be 23, with long blonde hair that went to the middle of her back which she had held back in two long pony tails. She had lightly tanned skin & bright brown eyes that took in the sunlight. She wore an all white outfit of stechpants, boots, tank top, and vest. But, it was now tarnished with blood from her cuts and grass stains. The only peice of jewlry she wore was a ring on her left hand, which had a strange marking on it. "Are you allright?" Lion-o asked. She gave him a glare that sent shivers up his spine. "I didn't need your help you know," she said, slowly moving into a kneeling position. She saw the looks on Lion-o's and Snarf's face & sighed. "I'm sorry. Thanks for helping me out back there," she said. "That's better, you shouldn't of been talking to the Lord of The Thundercats like that," Snarf said. She looked at Lion-o. "Oh, we have a noble in the woods," she said, fisted he rrigh thand and put it on her left shoulder. "Welcome to the Forest of Time Lord..." she started and looked at him a bit confussed. "Lion-o. You allright?" he asked, still noticing her wounds. "Those are just flesh wounds," she said and quickly stood up. She tried to take a step but a searing pain went up her left leg, her eyes went wide and she gasped. "But that's not. OW!" she shouted and went back to kneeling. "Wahts' wrong?" one asked as they both went over to her. "My legs been broken. It needs to be fixed fast," she said. "We'll take you back to the Lair and..." Lion-o started. "NO!" shouted a small but distinctive female voice. The two looked to see a fairy come out of the girl's vest. She had a pair of beautiful see through rainbow wings, long raven hair, sky blue eyes, creamy skin, and wore a simple purple dress. "Who's this?" Snarf asked. The fairy looked down at him with a tart look and flew right over to him & hover no more than two inches away from his nose. "I am Aurora, friend of the One who Walks through time. And you two have no right to barge in here and take her out of these woods. Without notice, the girl's ring was lightly glowing and she nodded. "Aurora, we're going with them," she said. Aurora gasped and looked at her. "Why?" she asked. "Because, they're place is much closer. And I need this fixed," the girl said, tapping her hurt leg. The fairy sighed. "Allright then," she said, feeling defeated. Obviously the girl in white had the last say. "Let's go then," Lion-o said and scoped the girl up in his arms. "What are you doing?" she asked. He blinked twice in a bit of confusion. "You can't walk on that leg and I don't see any thing you can ride on," Lion-o said. The girl sighed, and the fairy quietly smiled at this. "Let's go then," she said and they went to the Lair. In the shadows, the mutants watched this. "Well Slithe. What do we do now?" Monkian said. "Think we should jump them?" Jackalman asked. "No, remember that spell she was going to use just before he came," Slithe said and we flash back to the fight. The girl in white was much tougher than she appeared and had a good amount of power in her. And when she broke her leg, tears began to form in her eyes and she had a look of rage in her eyes. "We'll wait till later," he said. Elesewhere, the small group had just left the woods. And the two girls could feel the dip in the magick outside the woods. "Something wrong?" Lion-o asked. She nodded. "Just feels diffrent out here," she said, taking notice of the world outside the woods. Lion-o just nodded and they were quiet for awhile. "Lion-o." "Yes?" "How do you feel about sorcerers?" she asked. Aurora stiffened a bit, and Snarf noticed this out of the corner of his eyes. The girl waited for his reply as he thought about it, and all the people he came across who uses magick. "It depends on waht they use that magick for," he said. "Like good or evil?" the girl asked. "Yeah. Why'd you ask?" "Becuase. I'm a sorceress," the girl said. 'What?" he asked. She looked at him with a raised eyebrow. "No wunder why you said you didn't need help," he said, and she giggled at this. Soon, they were close to Cat's Lair as the bridge was drawn out for them As they crosses it, Cheetara and Tygra came out and hurried over to them. "What happened?" Cheetara asked, seeing the hurt girl in Lion-O's arms. "The Mutants arw what happend. She needs help," Lion-O said. "Let's get her inside then," Tygra said and as they went in, the girl got a bad feeling as evil eyes watched them go into the Lair. Inside, the girl was at the Counsel Table sitting. Her cuts had been cleaned out, but her leg had been broken and she had to stay off it. She was not likeing this idea, and the others could tell this. Aurora had been with her the whole time they were they and was lying on her stomach on top of the girl's head. "Who are you and what were you doing in the woods?" someone asked as she rubbed her sore leg. She looked up at them surprised. "I live there," she said, which raised a lot of eyebrows. "What?" she asked. "We've heard that no one has been in those woods for a long time and we weren't expecting to find anyone in there," Cheetara said. Aurora giggled at this and the twins looked at her like she was crazy, which got them an icy glare. "I have lived in those woods all my life, and no has come into those woods cause people here have mostly forgotten about us," the girl said. "Just who are you?" asked Wiley Kit. Aurora was about to speak when the girl stopped her. She stood up shakily and bowed a bit. "I am Angela Angel, the One Who Walks through time. Keeper of this planet's history & secrets," she said very formily, which shocked the Thundercats. "But, you're just a ledgen," Wiley Kat said. Angela smiled as she sat back down. "Well, I'm here aren't I?" she asked. "So, you are the Angela Angel," Panthro said. Angela nodded with a gentl smile. "I am the one my Gods chosse to record what has happened on this planet. I have records of everything that has happened on 3rd Earth...and before that," Angela said. "Angela!" Aurora said, jumping up onto her hands and knees. "Aurora, it's allright. They have a right to know since they live here now," Angela said, Aurora moaned as she slid back onto her stomach. "What are you saying?" "My existence has been this planet's greatest secret up untill the birth of 3rd Earth. Before that, I was a normal girl and a magick warrior with many others liek me. Ha, I was even able to advance as far as a queen of Spirit in the Kingdom of Five Elements," Angela said, as she fiddled with a heart locket around her neck which appeared to be unsaved from the fight. "But that life ended and I was reborn as this, sent back to the begining and placed in the Crystal Mansion in the centaer of those woods...of course, back then there weren't any woods there. They grew there and took on magick of their own to protect the mansion," Angela said. "Just how does it protect your home?" Panthro asked. Angela thought about it. "They stopped any type of vehical from running in there. Planes, cars, trucks, you name it will not run it there. That spell was casted by the Earth spirits there back when tanks were invented," Angela said, keepng her eyes souly on Panthro when she said that. He didn't like that. "Is there anyone else there in the mansion?" Lion-O asked. "A couple familars, spirits, fae, and the One of All," Angela said. "One of All?" Cheetara asked. Angela nodded. "The One of All is the bloodline of all the people from Earth. One is one of the last few people from that time," Angela said, sadly at the end as she grapsed her locket. "Why didn't you say this person's name?" Tygra asked. "Because, the One of All's identidy is not ot be revealed outside of those woods. Back in that time, there would have been many people who would like to Kill one because One is related to their racial enimies," Aurora said, as Angela was lost in memories of the past. "That's horrible," Snarf said, Aurora nodded. "It was horrible this racism that was around on Earth. I'm glad that it's not on 3rd Earth," Aurora said. Everyone was quiet for a while before Angela spokje up. "Those three were sent by someone after me," she said, breaking the tense silence, making everyone look up. "What?" Lion-O asked. "I heard one of them say that they were not told you'd be there. So, they are not alone in that attack," Angela said. "But, the question is who," Aurora said, putting on her thinking look. Someone was about to say something when there was a blast and the place shook a bit. The twins went to the window to see sky cutters and nose divers. "Mutants!" they both said. "You two stay here, we'll deal with them," Lion-o said and the Thundercats left them alone. But Snarf looked back to see Angela loking out the window, tears in her eyes and rage in her face. This stopped him cold in his tracks, "What's wrong with Angela?" he asked, turning back as Aurora flew down to in front of Angela's face and gasped when she saw the looks. "Oh my Gods no," she said. "What! What is it?" he asked as Angela turned away from the window and left the room, hovering over the floor as she walked, shocking Snarf. "She's going to cast some major spells. We have to stop her," Aurora said. "Why?" Snarf asked, thinking that she maybe able to help. "Because, she doen't have enough power to cast all the spells she wants to!" Aurora shouted, franticly. In the Cat's head, the cats were using the Lair's weapons to fight off the mutants, but it was like they were being guided by unseen hands today. "They must be getting help from their mysterious employer," Panthro said. "Guys! Look!" Cheetara shouted, on the lower part of the screen was another window showing Angela going outside with Snarf and Aurora trying to stop her. "I'll go get her back in here," Tyrga said and left his post as the twins took it. "This isn't good, it's almost as if she's in a trance," Cheetara said, keeping her eyes on the 3 outside. Outisde, Angela looked up at the 3 mutants as clouds began to roll in and the wind began to pick up. "What's going on here?" Monkian asked. "It's the girl, she's outside!" Slithe said as they all spotted her & headed her way. "Angela! We have to get back inside!" Aurora screeched at the top of her lungs. "No. I have to cast these spells," Angela said, glareing at the aproacching mutants as the skys darkened. "Why?" Snarf asked. "Because, they can;'t be allowed to interfer with what fate has planned for you all this week," Angela said, and Snarf looked at her oddly as the wind blew away streams of tears. Aurora looked at this with wide eyes. "Snarf, get back," she said. He looked at her surprised. "But..." "Do it now! She's goiong to cast a spell!" Aurora said as she flew away from Angela as Snarf backed away. The tears took on an energy of their own as her rage filled them. The mutants could see it, their vehicals reacted to it badly. "Tears of Rage!" Angela screeched at the top of her lungs, waving her hand around, controlling the strram of tears at the end of her index and middle fingers. They attacked the muntants vehicals like they were pure energy. almost short cicruting them. Snarf looked at this wide eyed as Tygra came out of the Lair to see this just in time. "By Jaga," he said and Aurora saw him. "Tygra, you have to be ready," she said. "Ready for what?" he asked, confussed and surprised. Angela stood on both feet now. She ignored the pain in her leg as she held both hands over her heart. Golden energy gathered from all over her body to her heart, she held her hands out at her sides and the godlen ball of light came out, her hair gently being blown around by the wind. "Oh no you don't," Slithe said and tried to shoot at her, but Tygra used his whip to stop the blasts. "Thanks Tygra, please hold them off just a bit longer," she said in a strange voice as she closed her eyes. "I give this barrier it's power upon this hour. May it gather it's strength from my heart and soul to protect us all," Angela said. "Angela, no!" Aurora shouted. "Gold Sheild!" Angela shouted, putting her hands to both sides of the ball of light. It flew around the whole Lair, creating a ring of light. Then that ring spun around on its side and created a golden barrier that delfected anyfurther attacks. Angela looked at the Mutants with an icy glare that sent shivers up their spine. "You will not interfer any longer you fools!" she shouted to them. "We will break thorugh that barrier and get those files, sooner or later girl," Slithe said and just got an even stronger glare from Angela. The mutants left without any furthur words. Tygra turned to Angela as she let out a sigh of releif and began to collasp. "Angela," he said and caught her before she hit the ground. "Thanks Tyrga," she said with a smile. "You're not supose to be on that leg," he said, with stern eyes. "I know, but I had to stop them," Angela said, like a little child in trouble. He just groaned as he helped her back into the Lair. Back inside, both girls were now looked at with suspious eyes. "Aurora knew my name and Tygra's," Snarf has said when they got back in. "And Angela knew mine as well," Tygra chipped in. The evidence was heavy, somehow the two knew them but the Thundercats didn't know how or why. Angela sighed after a moment of silence, and looked away from them. She had been very quiet ever since the looks started. "You have a lot of qestions to answer you know," Lion-o said, sitting right across from her. Sitting in a chair turned around backwards as he leaned on the back of the cahir as she sat on a couch with her legs steched out, filling it so no one would sit by her. She closed her eyes and had a rude look on her face. "It wasn't suppose to happen like this," she said, percking up the others a bit. "How was it supose to happen?" Lion-O asked. Angela opened her eyes and looked at him out of the corners of her eyes. "Do you really want to know?" she asked. The others got tensed as Lion-O nodded. Angela turned her face to Lion-O, and glanced around the room. "I was supose to meet you in those woods," she said. The twins looked at her with raised eyebrows and she looked over at this. "Meet?" Lion-o asked. Angela nodded. "I wanted to meet you under more quiet terms so a exchange of information could be started," Angela said. "An exchange of information?" Lion-o asked. "Yes. I have files about everything that has happened, copies of just about everyhting that has been published on this planet, and stuff that could be usefull," Angela said. "And you know nothing about us?" Lion-o said. The others knew this wasn't as true as it sounded. "Sorry about that luvs. I have been out those woods and have been wataching you all and those Mutants. And Aurora here has been able to get close enough to hear things...sometimes," Angela said, making the fairy blush a bit. "So, how'd you know I'd be coming?" Lion-O asked. "I was informed by my Gods...and Nightwing," Angela said. Lion-O raised an eyebrow. "He's One's Raven familar...I have a question," Angela said. "What's that?" "Am I in trouble?" she asked, in her child's voice. The twins looked at her surprised as the adults all began to smirk at this. "What? Waht's so funny?" Angela asked, looking around confussed as Aurora moaned. "I told you not to do that voice," Aurora said. Angela looked as if she was about to cry. "It's allright, you're not in trouble," Lion-o said, holding his hands up. "I'm not?" Angela asked, in her normal voice. "Yes." Angela gave her cold look. "Then why the interiagtion and the looks?" "You made us thing you were spying on us..." "Which we were," Aurora said and got a look from Angela. "..and had broken into the Lair," Lion-O said. "Which I never had," Angela said. This made everyone feel a bit easier. "So, can when can we start the trade of information?" Angela asked curiously. "As soon as possible," Lion-o said. Angela squealed, happy as a kid in a candy shop. "I brought some files over already. I don't know if you'll beable to read them off these disks though in your computers," Angela said, and took out some cds made of crystal. Tygra took one and looked it over. "I think we can try," he said and Angela smiled. "Angela. That Gold Sheild you put up is gone now," Kit said, pointing out the window. "What?" she asked, looking over at them. "It's fadded away," Kit said. "Oh. It's still there, it's just not visible any more," Angela said. "Why did you cast that spell anyway?" Cheetara said. "One, to stop the mutant attack," she said. "Those idiots have messed with fate enough with today," she thought. "Two, that sheild will stop anyone from spying on us. I know that someone out there is trying to stop the flow of information and I don't want them to know about it," Angela said. "So, just how will this work?" Cheetara said. "I 'll give you any information you want...except for the forbidden parts. And I'd like to know all you can tell me about you and where you came from," Angela said. "Okay, but why dind't you come right out from the begining?" "I have a list of rules to live under. One of them says I'm not supose to show my self to aliens who are harmfull. From what I've seen, you all are the good guys in this era...and it looks as if you may not be leaving anytime soon," she said. "What gives you that idea?" Panthro asked. She looked over at him. "No one builds a place this big without some sort of plan of staying for a long period of time," Aurora said. "We can build a ship to leave, if we had the parts," Panthro said. "Oh," Aurora said. "Well. Shall we get started on those disks?" Angela asked, swinging her legs around. "Angela!" Tygra shouted as she stood up and hovered over the floor. The others were surprised by this. "What?" she asked. "Never mind, let's go," he said. "K," she said, and followed him out of the room as she walked on air. Everyone but Snarf looked at this with awe. Aurora giggled at this. "Just what is she?" Cheetara asked. "An mystic," Aurora said. "A what?" Kit asked. "A witch," Aurora said, after sighing. Angela hated that term, cuase it brought up a negative image in her mind. So she perfered to be called anything but. "Oh," Kat said. Aurora just smiled at this, and began to think of stories from the times before 3rd Earth she could tell them. Deep inside a dark stone room, the mutants stood before a cloaken figure. "The girl is with the Thundercats now, and we can't get past that blasted shield of hers," Slithe said. "You fools! If you had gotten her back in the woods, we would have her now," he said. "Well, you never toldus that Lion-o would be there to help her," Slithe said. "That's because I didn't! The fates threw in that moneky wrench. Now go! I will summon you when I have a plan to fix this situation," he said and the 3 left. He looked inside a large bubbling cauhldron and swooped his hand over it. The waters calmed and he tried to look inside the Lair but hee couldn't. "Blast it! Her Gold Shield is screening my vision in the cauhldron. I can't see a thing through it," he said as he blew away the static and the bubbles came back. "Well, we'll just have to get around this somehow. And when we do, all that knowledge will be mine," Mumm Ra said, as his eyes glowed red and a smile formed on his face. |
