Chris and Max walking beside the canal Hi,
We are back in Victoria, at Red Cliffs
Our 14 aeroplane flights each ended well - reunited with all our luggage, and now home to sleep in our own bed!

Our last view of Gloucester Cathedral, above the surrounding buildings.

May God smile on you today,
Elizabeth

Texaco Hydrangea is changing colour
What should be our farewell photos? The Texaco just down the road, where we purchase papers, milk and 'forgotten food items'. The hydrangea at the front step is changing colour, as autumn approaches.
Vic's fence Four Sisters in the background
Vic's fence is up to the planting stage - we had the privilage of watching it get built. Derek's 'Four Sister' trees show little change, but the front hedge has had it's summer growth spurt. Suddenly the days are getting dull.
Tithe Barn is now comfortable home Churcham church well attended
The Tithe Barn up the road has been lovingly turned into a home, and is now up for sale. The road in front of it is very busy! Churcham church is even older - Christian worship here goes back over 1900 years.
Taking down the summer flower display
Look Ma, no hands
Autumn and the gardeners are taking down the hanging pots in Gloucester's central streets. St Aldate Street has a rebel - plant with no visible means of support!
Street market - vines and plants Street market - vegetables
The street market is each 1st and 3rd Friday, and at the October 3 stalls we saw these grape vine cuttings, taken from vines growing nearby. You can see it is becoming coat weather again.
St Lucy's lawn Margaret's hanging pot
St Lucy's Lawn, beside Gloucester Cathedral, was a gardeners dream in April, and now is able to have the fence removed Margaret's flowering pot is still looking gay.
Howard's flowers View from the plane, over Australia.
Howard's flowers need a glass-house, and this year they have given a good show.
Flying home - Australia below the clouds and icicles on the window.
lawn needs mowing Elizabeth and the new numbers
Back home at 'Our Place' and the lawn-mower has a broken cable, so the grass is high.
Local council has a new scheme - we are getting our very own Postcode for our address, and the number is based on Ouyen, shows a satellite reference of 83.34kms from the GPS point.
Kangaroo comes to bid us welcome home Lounge room, look at the books
We had a welcome from a kangaroo - the first time we have seen one on our property, so the drought appears to still be a problem at it's ususl grazing places. Lounge room has been kept happy while we have been away
