![]() We are home again at Huntley, after eight days in Geneva. Weather here is good - expect to get our washing dry this morning, despite the 'hopeful' forecasts of rain each day, wanting the dry spell to end.
The family has news for us, from Sydney. Penny has sent some photos of the changes to their house.
May God smile on you today,

The new room was foundations at Christmas time, and now includes a new roof which is having the gutters added, and paint on the walls.

We have two families of cousins living in Geneva, and managed to meet both. Fabiana's twins are aged 4, and enjoyed being photographed.

Our farewell treat, at the Balexert shopping centre, one of Geneva's large shopping centres, and two bus stops from the Avanchet centre near our Motel. After a week, we are starting to be able to recognise some places. Each bus stop has a name, and we have a copy of the 'Network Map' which we consult frequently as we explore.

I think these trees are the same type. The first was found in the Cemetery gardens at Briquet (the name of the bus stop next to College du Bude), near where Fabiana lives. The second splendid tree was found in the gardens at the University, and labelled. The dynasaur tree is called Cedrus Atlantica 'Glauca Pendula', Cedre pleureur de l'Atlas, Pinaceae - Aftrique du nord. A similar drooping tree is called a Sequoiadendron Giganteum F. Pendulum, Wellingtonia pleureur, Taxodiaceae Californie.

We visit the World Scout Bureau, and also closely examine a vineyard near Stuart's home. The dinosaur trees are for Lachlan, Stuart's 6 year old who showed us his fossil construction. |
