Poppies in flower Hi,
We are back home from Sweden, and find our neighbours have been busy. Wild flowers have changed - this is the month of the poppies in this area. These particular plants are in front of Adrian's house, two doors up from us. We walked past again late in the afternoon, and all the petals had fallen - with buds for tomorrow showing.

Lovely big tractor Spot the man with the shovel For the last three months, Vic has been working on his front fence. He has totally enjoyed himself, and worked very slowly.
our Great Grandmothers Bertil's parents and grand parents Suddenly, while our backs were turned, Vic has finished adding the wrought iron topping, and sowed grass seeds on his nature strip. Roger's house is in the background.
We enjoyed the Swedish transport systemIn our own front yard, I decided to prune the rose, and the hydrangea beside it. Blue flowers coming out at last. But the rose is making a come-back with more flowers.
I have been working on parish records, and have reached the burial records of over 200 years ago. Now I am trying to match church records and graves.
