Gloucester Cathedral above the surrounding buildings Hi,
Our six month stay in Gloucester has reached the last days, and the dilemna of what should be the final photos.

Then suddenly we are home, and looking around to see the floors need sweeping (there was a big dust-storm) and the grass needs mowing (it rained) 'while you were away'.

We have enjoyed Geneva, and renewed contact with two cousins, meeting their spouses and children. The tree is called a Cedrus Atlantica 'Glauca Pendula'

Return to England's green fields, a contrast to France's drought damage. Our biggest disaster has just occurred - my new red top has not agreed with being washed, and the colour has run into my fawn jeans, blotching them. New fashion!

We are back home from Sweden, and find our neighbour has these poppies growing beside his front fence.

We visit Scroggs House, where an ancestor Jane Otley, was born 1767. Jane's brother Jonathan was a famous local scientist and clockmaker.
