The New Testament Story I Will Retell is the Birth of Jesus. It will be told from the innkeeper's point of view.

I was just a simple innkeeper in the small town of Bethlehem. On this in particular night my inn was completley full. Otherwise, I was having a great night of business. My wife and I were very happy and were rejoicing. Little did I know that there would be a reason to rejoice greater than this tonight.

It was in the evening, around 7. I said the inn was filled to its brim. Somebody knocked at my door. They were Joseph, a carpenter, and Mary his wife, who was pregnant. They needed a place to stay, so Mary could have her baby. However, not one room was open in my inn. So, I offered them my stable where kept my sheep and other animals. They accepted this offer and went to the manger.

Several hours later, all of my guests had gone to bed, and the inn was quite quiet. I told my wife, who was cleaning up for tomorrow, that I was going to check on the people in the manger. I went to my back window and looked at my manger. It was a little past midnight, and at this time I saw the most miraculous thing I had ever seen. Mary had her baby, and he was lying in a makeshift crib. He was glowing as though he was a god, but I saw never a more human baby. There was one big star in the sky hovering over my manger. I knew that I may have denied room to someone very special.

A couple hours later there was a knock at my door; this was very early in the morning. It was three shepherds that claimed that the savior was born here, and that they followed a star to find here. I was astounded, and I knew that Mary had her baby. I told them to go to the back where the manger was. I watched them go back, and instantly they knelt before the baby. While I was still in shock and utterly speechless, I heard another knock. At the door were three very wealthy men, perhaps. They said that the King of the Jews was born here, and that they would like to see him. I directed them to the manger. There they knelt down as well with the poor shepherds, as though they were not as powerful as this simple baby. I showed this to my wife, and she was in disbelief. We decided we would talk to them in the morning.

The next morning they had left when we went to go talk to them. Never in my life had I seen something so powerful and miraculous. Some people told me he was the meesiah, others told me he was nothing special. I believe he was the Messiah, born of the house of David. After these events I made my inn bigger, because I will know never when the savior will want to come again.
