The Anthropic Principle

The Anthropic Principle states that God must exist because of the fact that intelligent life exists despite all of things that could have gone wrong to prevent the existence of intelligent life. If earth's atmosphere at the beginning of time had only had a slightly higher percentage of hydrogen or nitrogen the earth would have burst into flames after the first lightning strike or if the earth were 5% closer to the sun it would be too hot to maintain human life, and it would be too cold if it were just 7% further away. These instances and myriad more could not possibly be a mere coincidence - every single thing on earth is perfect the way it is, which is such a slim chance that a higher being must exist.

Let's now delve deeper in the amazing ideas of the anthropic method. A slight increase in strong nuclear force would transform all the hydrogen atoms in the world to helium atoms, meaning that water could never come into existence and thereby making human life impossible. The strong force is one of the four fundamental forces, and any miniscule change in any of these forces which work on a subatomic scale would result in the end of human existence.

The four fundamental forces could destroy human life if they changed by even the smallest bit.

For me, this argument is overwhelmingly convincing. The odds of thye human race never existing is a billion to one. It is like walking on a vast beach and bending down to pick up a single grain of sand: the likelihood of picking up a certain grain of sand out of the trillions and trillions of grains on the beach was the likelihod of human existence. It is pretty safe to rule out that it is pure coincidence that all the principles of biology, math, anatomy, and physics work together to allow human existence to overcome all the innumerable odds against it. The only option left is that a Higher Being must have created us and allowed us to exist by making the rules of science and math work for us. This Higher Being is God.

The Anthropic Principle gives irrefutable evidence that God must have created humanity and be protecting us.
