OPERATION FLOODGATE

Battle Strategy for full frontal assault on the kingdom of darkness

Sprite_18.gif (2358 bytes)

2Ch 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

READ: Eph. 4: 1-16

It is time to unite as a body of believers on behalf of our cities. We must put aside our denominational differences and proclaim the unity of our faith in the Kingdom of God. Let’s all join together against the curse of sin and spiritual blindness holding our cities in bondage.

READ: Judges 6: 1- 8, 33 & 7: 2,7

God will determine each persons place and depth of commitment by His Holy Spirit: praisers, pray-ers, and warriors. Some will be led to pray for the Kingdom of God, and some led to pray against the kingdom of darkness

Psa 150:6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

Through God we shall do valiantly: for He it is that shall tread down our enemies. Psa. 60:12

STUDY OUTLINE FOR SPIRITUAL WARFARE

EPHESIANS 6: 10-19

Eph 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Praise - II Sam. 22: 1-51, Josh. 6: 1-27, II Chron. 20: 3-29 Col. 3: 15-17 Praise fills the heavenlies with the power of God that the prince of the power of the air will tremble. Eph. 2:2

Prayer - Matt.6:1-15, Mk. 11:26, I Tim. 2: 1-6,8

Examples: Eph. 1: 15-23 prayer for wisdom and understanding

Eph. 3: 14-21 prayer for inner man

Col. 1: 9-2:3 Paul’s prayer for the saints

I Kings 8: 23-53, II Chron. 6: 17-42 Prayer dedicating house of God

Fasting - Why? - Isa. 58: 6-12, How? - Dan. 10: 3, I Cor. 7: 5, Matt. 6:16-18 When? - II Cor. 6: 1-10, v. 2 Why 40 days? 40 = 1 generation Examples: Noah Gen. 6:5-7:23 v. 7:12, Moses Ex. 24: 18, 34: 28, Israelites Deut. 8:2, Jesus Lk. 4: 2-15

Note: Matt. 6: 16-18 Fasting is a secret thing between father and child to determine: to fast everything but water, 1 day in 10, or 1 meal. No condemnation! Rom. 8: 1

Hedge placement - Hedges are built to protect posessions when there isn’t time or manpower to guard them. We must protect our families, homes, and belongings while at battle. Job 1:10, Psa. 80: 12-13,

Eph 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Before a soldier puts on his armor he first inspects it and does any needed repairs:

unconfessed sin, denounce generational sins - I Jn. 1: 5-10, James 1: 14-15

unforgiveness -Matt. 18: 21-35

unabiding, fear - Jn. 15: 1-8, I Pet. 2: 9-3: 12, Col. 2: 6-7, 3: 16-23

unbelief - Jn. 14:12, James 2: 14-20

unbridled tongue - Psa. 19:14 119: 11, Pro. 6: 2-3

- " that you may be able to stand against the wiles strategic plots of the devil."

I Jn. 2: 15-17 Build a defense against the lust of flesh or eyes and pride. Study spiritual mapping. Spies should be sent out during 40 days to discover names and aims of the enemy. Josh. 2: 1, I Tim. 3: 6-7 Children don’t go to war. These trips are for warriors to collect information ie; location of idols, names of resident spirits, strongholds of sin etc., for attack at the completion of 40 days waiting on God.

Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

principalities - terrritorial rulers in the heavenlies God will supply air to ground support as we seek Him with fasting and Prayer Dan. 9,10

powers - occultic forces Deut. 18: 9-14, Col. 2: 15

rulers of the darkness of this world - deciet, depression, self destruction, oppresion etc.

I Pet. 5:8, Mk. 4:15, Jn. 10:10

spiritual wickedness in high places - evil authorities, false prophets I Jn. 4:1-6

Know your enemy! It is so important that we prepare for 40 days to have victory without casualties.

Eph 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand."

Isa. 59:16-19

We will be exposing ourselves to all the devil can throw at us. Deployment of forces needs to be done with consideration for vulnerable areas. ie.only married couples of 10 years or more should face spirit of adultery, those with history of depression should not face spirit of suicide, singles should not challenge lust. etc.,

"and having done all to stand.".

II Cor. 10:3-8, Matt. 18: 18-19 Our soldiers must have confidence in the authority to use the name of Jesus and the power of His blood. Matt.:2818-20, Acts1:8 Rev. 12: 9-12 The word of God must be ready in our hearts, mind, and mouth for the enemy will counter attack body, soul, and spirit. II Tim. 2:3-4

Eph 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Open declaration of posession. We will raise God’s standard here and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it. Matt. 16: 18-19

"having your loins girt about with truth,"

If you see your weaknesses so does your enemy. He has had many lifetimes to study body language and response to adversity. Stay in constant communication with the commander-in-chief Jesus and fellow soldiers, who will agree with you against his lies. Matt. 18:18-20 Satan is the father of lies. A lie is impersonating the enemy; treason. Note: The loins is also the area of the sexual organs. Beware, many spiritual leaders have fallen to sexual sins.

"having on the breastplate of righteousness;"

Jn. 13: 34-35 The breastplate protects the vital organs and righteousness protects the spirit, discernment . A powerful hit here can kill. Guard your heart and your mouth. You are known for your fruit so don’t leave this area vulnerable with unclean living. Rom. 5: 17-21, I Jn. 1: 8-9

Eph 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

We cleanse the filth of the world off our feet before we put on shoes. Jn. 13: 10 Shoes protect our feet when outside from whatever may be hidden where we walk. Lk. 10: 19 We can tread on the wicked Mal. 4:3 with full assurance of being able to walk away from the battle. Sometimes war is necessary to prepare the way for peace; the peace that only Jesus can bring after the enemy has fallen.

Eph 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Heb. 10:38-11:3 We are to stand not draw back. I Jn. 5: 4 The priorities of our life must be in the right order; seek first the kingdom. Matt. 6:25-34 Soldiers must not become entangled in civilian life, wavering between two kingdoms. James 1

"ye shall be able" suggests an act of our will. We hold the shield up to stop what the devil throws at us.

"all" You have complete authority to use the name of Jesus. Don’t put up with his harassment, deciet,or suggestions from the enemy.

Rom. 10: 17, Heb. 11, II Cor. 13:5

Eph 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Without this piece of equipment we are on the wrong side. It protects our physical senses and mind like the breastplate protects our spiritual senses. Phil. 2: 5 Pray to see Port Townsend like Jesus sees it.

Work to develop weapon proficiency a scripture arsenal . ie., Isa. 54:17 , Phil. 4: 13, I Jn. 4:4 5: 4-5, II Tim 1:7, Pro. 28:1 etc. Seek and you will find. Isa. 55:11 Quote God and all evil beings must obey

"and the sword of the spirit which is the word of God:"

The words of our mouth in the physical realm is the weapon of our faith in the spiritual realm. Luke 4: 1-13 When Jesus was tempted after His 40 day fast, all He needed to defeat satan was the scripture that was hidden in His inner man. Heb. 4: 12-13

Eph 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

I Cor. 14: 4 Praying in the Spirit is spiritual weight-lifting. Rom. 8: 26-27 The Holy Spirit makes intercession on behalf of the object of our prayer according to the will of God.

"watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;"

Soldiers must take turns standing watch against sneak attacks so their comrades may rest.

Matt. 26: 36-45, Mk. 13: 32-37 Jesus stood watch alone all night on the eve of His greatest battle. Jesus did His part, we need to do ours.

Lk. 12: 35-40, 21: 34-36, Col. 4: 2-3, 12, II Tim. 4:5, Jude 20-23, Rev. 3:3

Eph 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

After we have fought and won, we must become bold to declare the declaration of peace. Matt. 28: 18-20
