Pop-out Side Window Conversion

If your Baja has no pop-out side windows, do not dispare. If they were offered as an option in the same year as your body then the mounting holes are already there. All that needs to be done is to aquire the window mechanisms and the piece of trim that replaces the original fixed window seal. The old window can be removed by pushing on it for the inside of the car with your feet. It will come out fairly easily, make sure that has something soft to land on when it comes out. The trim piece slips over the metal edge surrounding the opening. Everything else just screws in real nice like. I hope you saw how things fit together when you took the popouts off the junked car you got them from. I got mine off the '68 project car which has absolutly no use for those rear side windows now, he he he...

Anyway, the result is better flow through ventalation, which is really nice in summer.
