Marle Her distant relatives appear throughout the game: Ayla and Schala are her ancestors; Doan is her descendent. In one ending, even Frog is her ancestor because he and Leene marry! Top

Lucca In 990 A.D. Lucca's mom, Lara, went into a machine and got her legs cut off... Unless you go back in time and turn the machine off by entering the code: "LARA". This event leads Lucca to take an interest in science. Top

In 590 A.D., Frog was a human named Glenn and a friend of the Hero Cyrus. Together, they went on an unsuccessful mission to defeat Magus. Magus killed Cyrus and turned Glenn into a frog. The Hero Medal that Cyrus wore fell down to Frog, making him into the new Hero. This allowed Frog to use the Masamune, an ancient sword created from the magic of two creatures from 12,000 B.C.

Robo Robo was created to be an evil guard robot at the Factory. However, he broke and was abandoned in Proto Dome. Your party came across him and Lucca fixed him and reprogrammed him to fight for good. Top

Ayla In Ayla's other language, "La" means "big" and "Vos" means "fire," making Lavos big fire. Ayla is also an ancestor of Schala, Marle, and Doan. Top

Magus He was born Janus. After Lavos came, he got thrown into a time portal to 600 A.D. where he was raised by Ozzie and eventually became the prince of the Mystics. After you fight him right in the middle of his summoning Lavos, he was thrown into yet another time portal back to 12,000 B.C. where he acted as the prophet. After the destruction of Zeal, you can get him to join you. Top
