If you get the treasure boxes you need the pendant to open in the
present and then the past, you'll get two of each item. However, if you get only the one in the present, you'll get a better item.
To start a new game +, beat the game, and then you can copy a
new party over it. Then you'll be able to beat the game at many
different points in the game to get different endings!
After each battle, everyone comes back to life with 1 HP, so
I don't reccomend wasting your MP and items reviving characters in
short, easy battles.
For Marle, Cure 2 is a very stupid spell. By the time you get
it, Cure will recover enough of your HP to make you almost full... AND
it costs only 1/5 the MP of Cure 2!
When you do the Black Omen, start from the times farthest in
the future back to 12,000 B.C. so you can play it as many times as
possible and get more items. But if you don't feel like gaining good
levels and just beating the game, it doesn't make a difference if you
beat it in 1000 A.D. anyway.
In the fair, be a good citizen. If you are, you'll get a free ether later in the game!
Go back to fight Spekkio often so you can beat him in all his forms. You'll be able to get a lot of good items from him!
I reccomend using either Frog or Robo, because they both have
spells that recover the HP of all allies. Of course, this isn't a must!
It'll just make it easier for you.
Try and use characters that have different abilities. (Ex.
Don't use both Frog and Marle because they both use water elemental
magic and healing abilities). Again, not a must, just a reccomendation.

After Zeal is destroyed, don't kill Magus or you won't be able to get him.
After fighting the Golemtwins, give him the
worst equipment, because he'll take it with him and die. You won't be able to use any of his equipment until you revive him, so you might as well have him steal stuff that you won't miss.
