John_love

In the letters of John there are a few verses on love that do not specifically fit into one of the four main love themes of John. These verses, although a bit different in nature, are still pertaining to the love of God and will therefore be put down here.

Verses on love in John:

"Do not love the world or anything in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in Him."
1 John 2:15

"Dear children let us not love with words or tongue but with action and in truth."
1 John 3:18

There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who feasr is not made perfect in love."
1 John 4:18
