one candle can not give light

you step out from the portals of birth
and i see the wisdom you hold in your eyes

i take you into my arms
your little heart beating
as i penetrate your life
with my death
... i drink your life...
your innocence, your new-borne wisdom
flowing into me
your little heart beating slower
soon no more

you enter life through the portals
of birth
you walk through darkness
into the light
which lifts the wisdom
from your mind
and with each step
on the path of life
you forget

and in the moment you die
your eyes grow open wide
as you realize what you lost
and the expression on yeer face
when the portals open for you
to enter Death; and the wisdom
storms into yeer mind

i hunger for the wisdom

when you pass the portals

of what is between
Life and Death
