Well lets see, it all started back in the day when me and Jeff wanted to start a band, but it just never really happened. Eventually I got pissed off and decided to start a serious band, so I called up Roy, John and Jeff and asked if they wanted part of this, they agreed to it and it was all moving all so smoothly until we kicked out Jeff and couldn't find another drummer, so therefore it all fell apart! So the band that we called Organ Splitter broke up!!! For some time I was writing music and lyrics but without a band it was hard to put all these things into reality! Then after being sick and tired of this shit, I called up Jeff once again and told him that I'm putting on a project, of course he was interested in my idea! So at that point we had a full band which consisted of Jeff, John and myself, but we still lacked a second guitarist, so I took up playing guitar and singing!!!! Everything seemed to be going just fine, until Roy came along and demanded his bass that John was using at the time, so that fucked us up, but Roy made a compremise that if Marc could play bass, he would let us keep the bass, which was cool, but Marc pissed me off so I kicked him out!!!! And at this time I just got Louis to play guitar for us, so instead of playing guitar, I'm not playing bass! Now we have a guitarist, bassist, singer and a drummer, but we're still missing a second guitarist! Now is the part where Mike comes in! Mike is a dude I met at the Masonic Lodge, he seemed pretty serious about playing with us, so I told him that he was in!!! This is how Down The Hatch has become what we are now! We're in the process of writing a few songs for our first show at the Masonic Lodge that Alex Wilson will be putting on in July or August!!! We have many styles of music put into one, just to make it sound different than everyone else! We play some punk, ska and reggae, but mostly our metal influences will not go unnoticed! You can expect an amazing stage show and weird new music from Down The Hatch in the near future, we'll be playing cover songs such as Misfits (Helena), Manson (Irresponsible Hate Anthem), Gwar (Fuckin' An Animal), System of a down (Sugar), and so on!!!
