Faults: flyback fur; body being long and rangy; head being too big; ears being scissored,
“V” carriage, lacking fur, thin, bowed, or bent
Severe Fault: shoulders being low or narrow
Disqualifications: dewlap; ears being over 2 1/2 inches in length

History: The Netherland Dwarfs came from a cross between a Polish and a small wild rabbit in the Netherlands, which was an accident. Breeders from England brought them to their country around 1948. The ARBA accepted them to our standard in 1969.

Fun Facts: the Netherland Dwarf is the smallest breed. Their ears are to ideally be 2 inches, with the disqualification being if they’re 2 1/2 inches or over.
