Bob Herschbach of Californian brought them over here after seeing them at a show in Germany in 1972. He exhibited them at the 1974 ARBA Convention in Ventura, California. However they did not attract much attention. They were then renamed the “Mini Lop”. Mr. Herb Dyke took over trying to get interest in this breed, and was able to get them recognized in 1980. Fun Facts: The French and English Lop share a color guide with the Mini Lop. National Specialty Club: Mini Lop Rabbit Club of America |
